    The cargo arrives at the port, is weighed and inspected, then placed in a designated warehouse cell or outdoor storage area.

What is a Type C bonded warehouse?
A Type C bonded warehouse is a public-use warehouse where goods of foreign origin can be stored under customs control without payment of import duties and taxes. Duties are paid only when goods are released into free circulation or when the customs procedure changes.
What types of cargo do you accept?
We handle general, bulk, containerised, project and oversized cargo. We accept goods under the bonded warehouse regime, in transit and in free circulation. Hazardous goods are accepted subject to prior agreement.
How is storage cost calculated?
Storage cost depends on volume, weight, cargo type, storage duration and any additional services required. Individual rates are available for regular clients. Submit a request via the form and we will provide a calculation within one business day.
Do you handle oversized and heavy-lift cargo?
Yes. Muuga port has the necessary infrastructure: high-capacity portal cranes, open yards and specialist equipment. Each project is handled individually with a dedicated transhipment plan.
Is cargo inspection at the warehouse possible?
Yes. The client or their representative may inspect the cargo at the warehouse by prior appointment at any time. We can also arrange inspection by independent surveyors.
